Comprehensive Eye & Vision Exams for Adults and Children
A thorough eye exam is performed to ensure normal vision and overall health. We offer the Optomap Retinal exam to confirm the health of the retina, optical nerve and other retinal structures. Many diseases are detected first through a comprehensive eye exam such as diabetes, hypertension, and other fatal diseases.
Contact Lenses (SCL and RGPs)
Contact lens fit is performed to ensure optimal eye health. Our doctors fit soft spherical lenses, astigmatic lenses and bifocal lenses. During the fit they will recommend the best lens that would fit your eyes and lifestyle.
Diagnose and Treatment of Eye Infections & Injuries
Our office is equipped to diagnose and treat most eye injuries and infections. Our doctors can treat corneal abrasions, chemical burn, contact lens complications and remove foreign body.
Diagnose and Management of Ocular Disorders
We provide diagnoses and treatment of eye disorders such as Dry eye, Glaucoma and Macular Degeneration.
Diabetic and Hypertensive eye exam
A thorough eye exam is performed to diagnose any diabetic or hypertensive retinopathy. Diabetic patients are prone to have early cataracts, glaucoma, macular edema and diabetic retinopathy.
High Risk Medication toxicity eye exam
A thorough eye exam is performed before and after taking certain medications such as Hydroxychloroquine (Plaquenil), Amiodarone, Tamoxifen, Prednisone and Potiga.

 

Healthy Eye

1) Yearly eye exam is essential to your eye health.
2) Protect your eyes with safety glasses, sports glasses, and sunglasses.
3) Eat right to protect your vision, particularly carrots, spinach, kale, collard greens, tuna, salmon and halibut.
4) Give your eyes a rest and follow the 20-20-20 rule. Every 20 minutes look at 20ft for 20 seconds and this will help reduce eye fatigue.
5) Always wash your hands when dealing with contact lenses.
6) Avoid sleeping or showering in your contact lenses.
